Develop bespoke e-Learning solutions for a variety of subjects and industries
Analyse learning aims and objectives and work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design solutions that align with these and identify target audience’s training needs
State instructional end goals and create content that matches them
Attend client meetings with senior team members
Apply instructional design theories and practice
Develop innovative ideas for e-Learning resources
Work effectively with colleagues to create compelling and engaging deliverables
Communicate effectively with the development team
Plan time effectively and work with senior team members to ensure meeting deadlines on multiple projects
Be aware of time spent on a project to discuss with senior team members, Review, evaluate and estimate the efforts for the development
Raise any project concerns or issues
Collaborate on Creative Treatments for sales proposals
Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
Creating Instructional Strategy Document, Writing storyboards, Reviewing storyboards from ID and grammar perspective, Creating Instructor-led Training and Web-based Training
Co-ordinating with clients, client estimation, and client project pricing. Should be able to interface with client to understand their training challenges and needsr
Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
Maintain project documentation and course folders
Should have handled a team of 4-5 instructional designer
Should have worked on Project management tools
Must Have
Proven working experience in instructional design
Experience: 8-12years
Should have flair for writing, knowledge of complete training development life cycle, Knowledge of applying ID principles and theories
Writing, grammar, language, and analytical skills
Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge ( Optional)
Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System
Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
BA or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar
